How to Create a DIY 'Squid Game' Guard Costume

We all know this year’s spooky season belongs to Squid Game. Netflix recently announced that the horror show has become its biggest series launch to date, and is now the top show in 90 countries, with 111 million fans. It's already a given that this will be the most popular Halloween costume this year.

I decided to build my own DIY ‘Squid Game’ guard costume leveraging the majority of the items in my closet and making it fashionable. I used a black turtleneck, leggings, black boots, and finished off the look with my magenta blazer and black belt. I also didn’t want to wear an all-over mask out in public, so I just painted the signature triangle shape on a black mask to give a nod to the squid guard mask. And for the card, I just cut out a rectangle shape from a cardboard box I had around the house and drew the iconic shapes onto it. Super simple!
