Kixpo Recap: I Love Sneakers

Sneakers has always been part of my lifestyle. Ok I admit I am slightly a "Sneakerhead". Growing up in New York, I have always been fascinated with all types of style when it comes to sneakers, from Nike to Adidas, New Balance to Aasics. So when I heard there was a Sneaker Con called Kixpo that was held in Dallas 'The Bomb Factory' in Deep Ellum - I had to be sure to lace up my Nike Air Max City Collection which is a limited edition pair with a simple crop top from GAP and black shorts from H&M, and take to the streets to see the latest in sneakers, Mortal Kombat, hip-hop music and some of some trendy street style wear.

With some many sneakers left and right, a lot of people were swapping shoes selling them for different price ranges to just being part of this big event in Dallas. They also held a sneaker artwork contest and a Mortal Kombat X contest that was being display from a big screen on the stage. The event drew in a huge crowd and from some people outside of Dallas. It was great that they brought this con to Dallas. SO many street style and sneakers all in one place. Makes for one happy girl. Check out some photos from the event below.
