2015 Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival

They say that Texas always does it BIG, well this past weekend Fort Worth hosted its 30th annual Main St. Art Festival and this was no exception. This arts festival has grown over the past several years and I was happy to attend this past weekend's festivities with some friends and my daughter. Stretching several blocks long the whole experience took over Main Street from Tarrant County Courthouse to the Ft. Worth Convention Center. With hundreds of artists (some of the best in country), great live music, one- of-a-kind foods, mojitos were so delicious & popular and the weather was perfect it made for a great experience. Best of all it was FREE ( minus food of course). Take a look at some of the things I got to see and experience below. Enjoy!

One of my favorite pieces from the show. Metal sculptures by artist Lewis Tardy.

These light up wire mobiles designed by Michael Gard was a must stop.

These are some serious chain fashion pieces by Elaine Unzicker.

Such beauty in artist Estella Fransbergen's art pieces. 

This little guy had me laughing and singing Cee Lo "F You" song in my head.

Spotted my favorite Avenger, Captain America by Rick Abrams.

And than there was the food. BBQ, to funnel cakes, ice cream, turkey legs, drinks, name your  favorite festival foods, it was probably there.

This one booth that housed so many hats drew in a huge crowd. One-of-a-kind hat designs by artist Ronia Grillos.
